about

This is probably one of my favourite songs i've ever written, i wrote thing a few days after i wrote superman it took again about 5-10 minutes.
Fairy Tales is based upon a very very close friend of mine, we went through a lot together and whilst she was going through a tough period in her life, we had a lot of conversation of just getting her back to normal and thank God we did and she's better than how i've ever seen her before. This song is for anyone who has like self esteem problems, or are just not comfortable with their own skin. it's really just here to tell you that like you can't let your belief in yourself turn into fairytales because life itself is not just about appearances or how some people think about you, or what is written in a magazine life is so much more then that.
The reason why the chorus has no words, is basically when i was writing i wanted the song to resemble a lullaby, and it almost should be something a mother would sing to her baby when taking her to bed, really easy to remember and just full of love and truth so that's why i decided to create the chorus like that.

(Sample is taken from the movie 'Forrest Gump')

lyrics

Wipe your tears, please don't cry
Ill fight your fears, it'll be all right
Don't be scared, i believe in you
Today is old, but tommorow is new

Da, dada , dada

You're beautiful, please believe that
You're wonderful, skinny or fat
Perfect doesn't, matter to me
So please just smile, let your soul be free

Da dada da

Belief has turned into fairy tales
Beauty is now what the magazine sells
Love had turned to lust
Diamonds are becoming rough
Belief has turned into fairy tales

Da dada dada

Seeing her deteriorate is painful
I don't want her to be locked outside in heavy rainfall
She needs to be fully clothed; beautifully comforted
Her life needs to be saved, organised and cleanly sorted
I believe its my mission to soften her heart
As I turn into an artist, delicately moulding with dainty craft
I listen and I see
The things that enter seem to have a major affect on me
My heart is softer than silk
Rest on it as I nurture you like a mother giving her baby breast milk
Watching you; observing......
It has my thoughts swerving
Because the peace and happiness you lack is exactly what you're deserving
There is a simple solution to every complication
However because man lack great observation - we give up in frustration
When we give up in frustration, we begin to dwell in semi-permanent aggravation
The force of being aggravated does not solve the problem so we enter into deep depression
Don't be silent - I'm personally presenting me
Look at the intention behind my eyes and see the sincere curiosity
I'm desperate for you to offload on me
Watching someone battle with themselves isn't what I want to see...
I know you don't really trust but please - find a way to believe in me
I was sent from Heaven by God to save thee
